It is a way of giving thanks to the elements of nature that help man. This is the period when the winter recedes, paving the way for the summer. Sankranti festival is celebrated for three days (Bhogi,Sankranti and Kanumu), Muggulu (colorful decoration),Gobbillu, Bhogi Mantalu(bonfire), Bommala Koluvu, Hari Dasulu, Gangireddulu are endearing sights during this time.
